Biden's Lies and Failed Economy

Biden's Lies and Failed Economy

The Biden administration never misses an opportunity to tout the alleged strength of the U.S. economy. However, for many Americans, the reality on the ground contrasts starkly with the rosy picture painted by the White House.

According to a report from Yahoo Finance, food prices surged by 11% from 2021 to 20221, far outpacing the usual annual increase of around 2%. And I can tell you first hand, the rate hikes are much higher, the cost of bread, eggs, you name it, the price is up!

This means that the same amount spent on groceries now leaves you with only half a cart compared to before. Gas prices have also skyrocketed, nearly tripling since Biden took office.

Despite these alarming figures, the administration continues to insist that things are improving. The White House claimed in a statement that inflation has fallen by 45% from its summer peak, and that gas prices are down more than $1.402. But many Americans are not feeling this supposed relief. Because we know he is a bag of lies. Everything that comes out of his mouth is either a lie or sounds like a mouth full of marbles.

In fact, the cumulative effect of persistently high inflation since President Biden took office has led to significantly higher costs for food, energy, transportation, and housing3. Even as the administration claims that annual inflation is lower than it was seven months ago4, consumers are feeling the pinch.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported a 3.7% rise in consumer prices in August 2023 compared to a year ago5, driven in part by spiking gasoline prices. Despite this, the President's top economic adviser continues to downplay fears of inflation and a possible recession6.

Many are left wondering why the Democrats remain silent amidst these economic challenges. Are they not feeling the squeeze too? Are they oblivious to the struggles of everyday Americans who are grappling with these rising costs?

The question arises: what is the secret sauce the Democrats are using to keep their base with their heads in the ground as if this is not happening? Could it be a case of political loyalty blinding them to the economic realities? Or is it a deliberate strategy to downplay the economic challenges in order to maintain political support?

Whatever the case, it's clear that there is a disconnect between the administration's portrayal of the economy and the lived experiences of many Americans. The soaring inflation and rising costs under the Biden administration are an undeniable reality, one that cannot be masked by optimistic statements and political rhetoric.
